sharing a software

Specs: Windows Xp
I have to XP computers which I want to network. Secondly, on both computers I have a "DryCleaning Pro" software. After networking I would like to be able to open the DryCleaningPro software on computer1 and add the customer's info and the day to day order and save it. Next I would like to open computer2 and access the customer file saved on computer1. How would I be able to do it, please help.

Why not just use Remote Desktop?

in other words you would only have the software on computer1. Computer2 would access computer1 via remote desktop. You would not be sharing the software but be accessing it only on computer1 from both machines. You would not be able to update the software from both at the same time. To do that you would need a multiuser version of the software.
