You have to connect the wireless access point to a LAN port on the router and configure it with an IP address in the same subnet as that used by the router. BUT, you want to make sure you use an IP that is outside of the DHCP scope setup on the router to avoid a possible duplicate IP address issue.

Once you have the AP configured, you have to configure a wireless network. Don't forget to use the highest level of encryption possible and a complex password.

Once you have that all done, then it's time to connect a wireless client to your WLAN.

tnx a lot .
plz help me Step by step :d

1) connect combo unit (modem/router) and ensure it's working properly.
2) configure AP and wireless network (use highest level of encryption possible and a complex password for the SSID to prevent intrusion
3) connect AP (access point) to LAN port on Router and ensure it's working properly and broadcasting the WLAN properly
4) connect a client to the WLAN to ensure all is working properly.

1-First i Must config access point.
how i can it ?

Read the manual (setup guide) that came with the AP, it will detail how to set it up.
