Sorry but that question doesn't make sense. There are no minimum or maximum settings, just the right ones.

What the right ones are is dependant on what equipment you are using.

Every computer on the LAN will need an IP address, a subnet mask and to connect to the Internet, a gateway IP address. The gateway IP address with be the address of you router or MODEM.
