hey, What im trying to do is connect my xbox using a crossover cable to my Notebook so both have internet connection. The notebook is connected to the router thru a wireless adapter. I have been tryin to Allow Internet Connection Sharing with the Wireless Connection but i keep getting an error that says: Network Connections- An error occured while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled. Internet Connectin Sharing cannot be enabled. A LAN connection is already configured with the IP adress that is required for automatic IP adress.
I dont kno wat that means and need some help. Thnx in advance.

Internet Connection Sharing by default uses IP address 192.168.0.1 on the host PC/Laptop and 192.168.0.2 on the client.
If you check your Router setting it is more than likely issueing IP addresses via DHCP in the same range. Therefore you need to read the router manual to change the routers IP. I always use 10.0.0.2 as a router IP.

Ok Xbox Internet Access Router modem
Presuming you have a modded (chipped/softmodded) Xbox.
Go to the dashboard network settings Turn on DHCP Make the gateway the same ip as your router.
