I want to set up a network on two computers I have, but have no experience with them yet. I was just wondering if anyone out there had some good ideas on what I should buy for a good networking setup, and also looking for a pretty cheap setup. Neither computer has any network cards at the moment. Kind of looking for a estimate on prices too if anyone knows. Thanks in advance.

If more computers u need hub $30+ and regular utp cables for each computer

And for a pretty comprehensive tutorial..

http://www.wown.com aka http://www.helmig.com

Helmig covers all flavours of M$ OS networking - basics upwards... Good screen-shots/step-by-step instructions.
