I have just set up a network between two PC's one running Win_XP_Pro the other Win_XP_Home. I have used the Linksys WRT54GS router on the main machine wired to cable modem/internet, the other one is wireless linked. Both machines are acessing the internet quite happily. My problem is I cannot see the PC's on the network to share files etc. I have set file and printer sharing on both machines, but this is bugging me now, can anybody help. It will be something really simple I haven't done.

Have you set both PC's to the same workgroup name? And although you've installed file and printer sharing, have you turned on sharing for any of your folders?

Thanks for the reply steigrapfx I have found what it was. Just needed to put the router IP address into Nortons firewall as a trusted site, PING all burst into life. I just knew it would be something really simple I missed.
