Solved set up security webcams on 2nd router bridged to 1st router

Specs: Windows 7
Currently we have a buffalo wireless router coming of the modem which serves 4 computers in the house. I would like to set up my security webcams on a separate Linksys router so if someone fool around with the buffalo router I can still access my cameras on the internet through the Lynksys.
Is this possible?

First, secure your Buffalo router so nobody else can make changes to it. Use a complex password known only to you on the administrative interface and disable wireless access to the admin interface. If you do, and you're the only person who can access the admin interface, the only other change anybody else could make would be to reset it to factory defaults.

To answer your question, it's not really possible with low-end SOHO level equipment. Especially if you don't secure access to the administrative interface.

I am the captain of my soul.

metchosinite you are missing a basic concept: if the router facing the internet is compromised nothing beyond it [your second router] is going to have internet access.
