set up Remote Desktop Connection

Hi,
I would like to set up a remote desktop connection from winxp professional in my office so that i can work from home. But every time i went to the system/remote ticked the check box .. add user .. but unfortunately, i can't see any user in the network? could anyone teach me how to setup this?

this might help...
when you try and add a user make sure that it is looking in the right "location". I noticed on my PC (part of a domain) it still defaults to looking at the local machine rather than the remainder of the network.

I setup the remote desktop connection and it's worked when i try to control the computer in the office (LAN). However, when i go home, i try to access into my office computer, It can't work. I try to ping IP address, it said unreachable.
What else do i need to setup so that i can access the office computer from home.
