I'm trying to set up a ftp server. heres my configuration
ddns service, dyndns.org
wrt54g linksys router, set up for ddns
pc with static ip and servu 6, zone alarm pro 6.0.66.in the router i have forwarded 20-21 to the pc running servu and some pasv port range
I have open those ports in ZAP and given servu administrator and daemon super trust level and all access in trusted and internet zones
i set up the server account with my ddns address port 21..
when i click to expand the server options on the left panel of i get a message, "connecting..." for a few seconds then it says unable to connect to my ddns host:21.
I can't get to the options to set user account, home folder..On servus site it said this might be caused by ZAP not allowin the connection between the administrator an daemon but I have given them the highedt trust in 'program control' menu and that it may be caused by the servu service not having administrator privileges, but i have installed it under the administrator account.
when i try to access it thru my wireless laptop, i get a connection timed out error.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks
