Hi, i would like to send files to my brother who is connected to my pc through crossover cable. how can i send him files. me and him have same comp.

Connecting the crossover cable is only the first step of establishing a home network.
Since you are running XP have a look in Start>Help&Support There is an easy to follow tutorial that will step you through setting up your Local Area Network (LAN)

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.
