Win2k with two nic's in a PC. They are on different subnets. One is a test network, the other is a corporate lan. If someone found a way into the test network, could they access the corporate lan via the other nic? If so, how can i prevent. Planning on about 50 machines with this configuration.

YESSS!!!!! and Firewall it. I like using Linux iptables, because it's a stateful firewall and it's FREE.

So, they make iptables for Win2K these days? Hmmm...

It is possible for someone to access one net by hacking from the other net. However, they would probably have to know the other net exists, and do some pretty good stuff to get onto it.

What's the hardware and user scenario? Are you trying to protect the nets from the OUTSIDE world, or from USERS? And with 50 machines, are you going to run two separate switches, with two separate cable runs?

You could use different networking protocols.
