I'm on a lan, and that's the source of my internet connection, my e-mail is on yahoo, the login page https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2?&.src=ym, that means it's a secure page and the username and password are encrypted in the packets.
After entering the username and password, and entering the e-mail, i'm told that "i'm about to leave a secure internet connection. it will be possible for otheres to view information you send. Do you want to continue"
That's the problem (in my understanding) the packets of my e-mail are sent to me unencrypted, that means on the lan the packets can be viewed and my e-mail can be seen, right?, if so how to overcome this. Thanks for advance.

Remember, email is not encrypted once your mail system sends it anyway. If you were to encrypt it from your PC to Yahoo, it would still be in the clear from Yahoo to destination.
With that said, your possible solutions would be encrypting the message itself using something like PGP, but that would require people you are sending mail to install PGP and for key exchanges to take place.
Your other option would be to switch mail providers. My understanding is you can do what you're trying to do with Google Mail.
"Enough, enough bowing down to disillusion!
Hats off & applause to rogues & evolution!
The ripple effect is too good not to mention.
If you’re not affected, you’re not paying attention!"

There are secure email services. Not normally free.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
