I've got an SBC DSL connection and am trying to add a D-Link DI-604 router into the mix. I've tried SBC and D-link help pages, but they didn't.

I seem to have two problems:

1. D-link says to disable the SBC PPPoE. From what I can figure this is handled by Broadjump. Under Add/Remove programs in XP's Control Panel there seem to be two related to broadjump, "Broadjump Client Foundation" and "Broadjump Correct Connect Engine". Do I need to remove both of these or is there some other way to disable PPPoE?

2. I can't get to the router set-up page which is supposedly at 192.168.0.1 when going through a web browser, (I'm trying to use Internet Explorer since the SBC browser won't connect, Probably because of the PPPoE situtation). Will having the PPPoE still installed stop me from reaching the router setup page? I've been able to ping the router at 192.168.0.1, but can't open the setup page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have never used the DSL service from that provider, but all of the ones that I have setup, I unistalled whatever software was on the computer. Try going to a different computer to access the setup page, that will let you know if it is the software or not. Also, make sure that there are no proxy server addresses in the internet connection settings on the client machine.
