quick question. first. i have a network setup.. a share, and both machines password protected.. great.. works fine.. i chose to remember the networked computers password.. im just curious how i would UNDO this? where is that password stored? second question. is xp HOME (my dads computer) unable to save network passwords? i can save and not have to enter a user/pass to access our lodge office computer.. but my dad has to enter user/pass everytime (there is NO checkbox to REMEMBER password) any way around that (besides making the user and pass the same on both machines)

Not sure about where the passwords are stored. One thing to try is to go into tree view of network neighborhood and find the share in question. Then right-click and remove the share. The next time you try to connect it might ask for a password.
As for your dad connecting to a share. What I do is create the same accounts on all my home PCs. So if my computer has the accounts 'Bob' and 'Jim' the other computers have the same accounts (with the same passwords). Then when another PC attempts to connect to my PC, my PC will use the username and passeword that the person used on their computer to try and authenticate them with an existing account on my computer. So, just replicate your dad's account ont he computer he will be connecting to and he should not need a password at all. And XP Pro allows you to configure which accounts have access to which resources.
