OK, SBC Yahoo! DSL is hands-down the worst to work with for getting a home network going.

I am trying to establish the connection through the router to SBCs DSL using my PPPoE username and password. I know these work because if I connect a PC directly it does not have a hard time connecting.

So why will my router not connect? It says it authenticates but then tries again immediately and says failed. Then gets OK...then FAILED again.

Anyone ever successfully establish this connection? If so how? Do I have to be conerned about the MAC addresses used when initially establishing and registering my connection??

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

I know with my cable internet provider, the mac address of the machine/router that is connected to the modem changes, you have to call them and tell them so they can reconfigure your connection. Call and find out if this is the case with yours.
