Hello
I've got a nice working network [BNC] between 2 computers and 1 modem. I have Win98SE installed on both of them and I want to route any package of information to the internet it the package's target is not in the local network.
Someone told me that WinRoute might be the best. So i've got Winroute 4.? & it's crack.
192.168.1.2 >> the computer with modem [the gateway]
192.168.1.4 >> the computer without modemof course i declared the gateway of .1.4, but i don't know how to set Winroute in order to do NAT.
If Winroute Help it says that I must enable NAT for the modem device and set the gateway ip on the other computer. I did so and it doesn't work! I checked in the Advanced Nat Dialog and added one routing [from any source, to any source, using the modem device, nat with 192.168.1.2 (the gateway's IP)]. I don't have any ideea why it doesn't work.
Please help because this is the reson why i bought the second computer [the one without modem] and if I can't make it work i'll trow it over the window >> and I live at the 3rd floor!
Some of you might say: "Why using NAT? When you can use a bunch of proxys?" >> Well, I use some programs which doesn't know how to use proxys and i can't use them anymore without a proper routing.
I know this is not quite a serious question, but what the hell? I really need help!
Thanks in advance..
