I've been trying to set up an advanced connection, when I try to I get an error message saying that the Routing and Remote Access service is needed, so I have tried to start that service and it won't start. I have restarted the pc etc. and it still won't work... any ideas anyone?

Section III.5 seems pretty cut and dry. Which part of it has you miffed?

I did not read the whole page but are you actually trying to use remote desktop via a Bluetooth phone or just "Installing java games/apps on the Samsung D500 via bluetooth" as the title suggests?

I'm just setting up an advanced connection like it says, but as I put on my first post, the Routing and Remote Access service will not start

Right click on My Computer and select Properties. Go to the Remote tab and turn on "Allow users to remotely connect to this computer".

Hi did you ever get it to work Chris?
I ahve enabled remote access but still get teh error "cannot start the Routing and Remote Access service"; (Also BTW I have a D-500 and and following the same guide!!!)....I have never got the Remote Desktop to work after isntalling SP2.
I read somwhere that NetBIOS is required. I installed it and managed to manually start the service ; but the problem still persists...

BTW...did the guide eventually work re: D-500 Java Games?
