ok my son bought a Dell Laptop..also got a router to hook the two together(my home pc and his laptop) since day one that I installed this D*** router I have had fatel exceptions and errors oh man have I..I have reformatted my system three times and seems to do no good I have 98 Plus on mine he has windowsxp. Does anyone have an idea what the prob could be its a Dell truemobile 1184 wireless Broadband router. This all occurs when I first start computer fatel exceptions 017F:BFF9DFFF and IE errors, sysdoc32 errors monwow errors...all kinds..then as the day goes on it seems to smooth out.Is there a certain way this router should be set up ran the cd..says it works and he is on line but he has no problems its ME my poor coomputer...PLEASE HELP

The router should in no way be able/responsible for this.

My best guess would be that the network software installation on your system is incorrect.

I would make sure you have the proper drivers for your network card and use the win98 cd to install the networking components.
