I'm having a problem with my Linksys WRT54GS router. I recently had to reset my router which made everything default to the factory settings. Now I can't connect to the internet. I can connect to the network fine on my wired PC, my wireless PC and a wireless laptop, but none of them can get to the internet. I'm able to post this here only because I bypassed my router and plugged my pc directly in to the modem. Works for this one, but my other PCs still can't connect. Can anyone help me please?

Thanks in advance!

Have you read your router manual? It tells you how to log into the router admin interface and in there you need to configure the WAN settings so you can get internet.

Yes, I have set checked and double checked my WAN settings. I have no problem connecting to the network thru my WAN. My problem is connecting to the internet.

Try connecting direct from modem to one of your PCs

Do you get internet? If so then run "ipconfig /all" in command prompt to obtain your internet settings.

Note. You do not connect to your network through the WAN port

Your network is the LAN side of the router. It is the modem that connects to the WAN port and you may need to go into your router admin interface and manually configure the WAN settings to match those you obtained from ipconfig.

Some ISPs configure their internet to the specific MAC address of the first PC. You may need to clone that mac address in the router in order to get a WAN connection.
