I've been working on getting internet around my house for a long time, and I finally decided it was time to look for help. Here's my problem-

I have a router that distributes the internet around the house. When coming from that, everything works fine. Every computer connected to it can get onto the internet. I have 3 computers in one room, though, and I thought it might be easier to use another router, so I have one router wired into another.

Well, apparently not. When I connect to anything from my second router, I get the "Limited to no connectivity" sign on all of my computers. I have DHCP enabled on the first router only. Router 1 is a Linksys WRT54G while router 2 is a Linksys Etherfast router from 2003. Thanks in advance.

you need to put this in bridgemode, the second router, if it support it..

Only the first is wireless, not both. They're connected using a wire, so I don't think "bridging" would work. I could be wrong, though.

the second one, put in bridge mode, keep the first one in layer 3, or you will not get to the Internet.. what your doing is extending your network...

I believe you should connect from one LAN port on your first router ( The wired/wireless one with DHCP enabled) to one of the LAN ports of the second router, not the WAN port.
That way with DHCP disabled in your second router you are simply using it's switching hub capability. There was no need to buy a second router in your circumstances when a simple multiport switch was all that was required.
