I just installed a wireless router so that I can share my dsl connection. My desktop connection is now slower and sometimes hesitates. My laptop wireless connection is super fast. Any ideas why this is happening?

What do you mean by "slow"? Latency or bandwidth?

It may be caused by invalid dns address resulting in extra delay before it use the next one.

I'm not sure what the difference is, but it seems to bottleneck and get bogged down, quite frequently.
