Hi, I've got a small homenetwork with three Computers set up, using a netgear router (RP114) and I would like to be able to restrict internet access to one of them via router configuration but the only setting i can find is a content filter wich would be fine but it restricts all three Computers from access, or at leat two since there's one option for a (1) trusted user IP. Any Ideas are welcome. tia Fran

Try telnet: Go to the command line or click start go to run click on it. Then type in "telnet" without the quotes. This will open up the telnet program which should allow more freedom withe the rp114. You could also try a firewall program like zone alarm http://www.zonelabs.com or purchase a real router which is programable like a good cisco. But they are high and a home network might not be worth it. Another route is to install XP on the machine in question and set up a limited account for your person with no internet access.
Summary: I recently tested my computers security by probing my ports i found all ports closed except one..port 80. I went on router setup page and found a setting with port 80 in the box...something like http....
