(Windows XP Home SP1): I have a BT Voyager 2100 adsl modem/router and a desktop PC connected to it via LAN cable and a laptop connected via wireless adaptor card. Both PC's can access the internet via the gateway but file sharing is not working. The workgroup computers are not visible on the network and after going through the windows network troubleshooter I have discovered that the PC's are not able to ping one another (100% loss).
Any advice on how to set up the network so that file sharing will operate would be much appreciated!
Both PC's are running XP home with SP1. The router has assigned subsequent IP's to both PC's and the subnet mask is the same on both. Pinging either PC from the other times out.
