router keeps closing port 80 on me

using charter pipeline (shudder) with a cable modem and a neatgear router. we have 3 computers hooked up to a network. the third computer keeps losing internet but can still ping the server. plus if i try to connect star wars galaxies it knocks everybody else on the network off. then as i close out swg my internet is gone. the only thing i can do is uninstall my ethernet card and restart. then after my software recognizes the card i can use the internet for a short period of time. please help, this is highly annoying and disruptive! any way to fix this? is the router really so stupid that it thinks the video game is an attack? names of some good routers? why doesn't everybody use dsl? thanks in advance
