Does anyone remember the settings to save configuration from hyper-terminal when connected to the router via console ?

Yeah. It's under the 'View' tab, click on 'Capture Text'. You will be prompted for a location to save to. The print from Word or Notepad later on.
Is that what you're looking for? Getting a hardcopy of your router config? Or are we looking to save the new config to NVRAM? -- which would be "copy run start", for Cisco at least.

Thanks for the info. What I'm trying to get also is to download configuration as a file from a router to a PC, cause sometimes capturing doesn't work too well.
