I have a linksys wireless router. It's 2.4 GHZ as well as my cordless phone. What channel (1-11) should the router be on so the phone doesn't interrupt my connection when being used?

The phone and router use different "channels". They cannot interfere with each other on any channel.

Although they use different channels, the devices may interfer with each other. The broadcast field may act as a noise source and reduce each others ability to receive.

Best try to keep them separated as far as possible.

Wizard-fred is right. Its not the channel but the frequency. Stupid FCC should have known better then to let phones and routers be on the same frequency.

Your best bet? Get a 900mhz phone instead of a 2.4ghz one
