Hi: I am using windows 2000 server, and pacbell dsl internet. I had been using that for a long time. Few weeks ago i added a D-link DI-604 router in my computer, and then i can not connect to the internet. But when I remove the modem connect directly to the dsl modem. The connection is work. I can connect to the internet. Anyone know why?

Your DSL provider is probably using the mac address of your nic card to authenticate your connection. When you put the router in front of your computer, your DSL provider cannot see your nics mac. Most newer model routers allow you to "clone" mac addresses which means you put your nics mac into your router. Search D-links website for help with this if you need it.
