Hi Guys
Need some help on buying a New Router. Personally don't have much knowledge in this area as I was given the last one.
If you need more information to help me I have a 20 meg cable connection supplied by Virgin Media and I need it to be accessible for 1 PC, 2 laptops and my 360.
My price range is £60 max, unless given a valid reason to spend more. Thanks in advance for any help I get

I don't have any opinion about any specific brand or model, the important thing there is that you will be able to get service and support if it doesn't work as it should out of the box. Your talking about a consumer grade router and for the most part if it works properly during the first weeks of use, it will last for years unless physically damaged in some way. Inside they are all integrated electronics on a circuit board. Find one that has multiple sources of positive reviews and you should be okay.
The only recommendation I would have is to go ahead and buy a wireless router. Wireless routers are just routers with the included capability of routing to a built-in wireless access point. They all have at least four regular Ethernet ports connected to a conventional router. They are very competively priced right now and there isn't any savings with just getting a plain router. The wireless AP can be disabled if you don't currently have a use for it, but you'll have it available in the future should you decide to provide wireless service in your home.

A good place to check for reviews.
I've got a DLink 604 router that I've used for years without a hitch. It's a four port wired router so if you want wireless you would need an alternative.
Check the reviews at Practically Networked.

Here's some reviews and price comparisons that make me think that you will have no problem buying a router in the desired price range.
Out of curiosity, do you have eBay available to you?

I believe the only successful way is to buy one from Virgin Media, they use Netgear which is Optimized for the 20meg Service. £40.00.
