This is not re networking but I didn't know where else to go. Can anyone please advise how to set up "Receive external mail" in yahoo (or hotmail). There is a section for username, ISP and password, but nothing works. Should I put something before the ISP provider? Help please!

you can only retrieve mail where pop3 is enabled i.e you cannot retrieve hotmail in yahoo because hotmail is web based only. your mail provider (of the mail you wish to retrieve) would normaly supply you with coonection settings which is normaly pop3 server (for receiving mail) user name and password. some web-based mail providers like yahoo.com give you pop3 connection for charge.
if you give me your mail domain @xxx.xxx i may be able to get you the settings
