Comment:

Is there a way to deny software installation rights users on windows 2000 server, when they are members of the domain administrators group? Some of the software these users are using requires domain admin group rights, however can I deny them software installation rights via their network userid's? We had a real problem with viruses from various gaming software and such...now that I have finished fixing the problem, I want to prevent this going forward. please help.

Errr? I can't imagine why a domain admin should be allowed to be a domain admin if they aren't allowed top level rights. Consider a much lower level if they have no real need for such power. Sounds like a need for best practices on every level.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.

hey jefro, i guess you didn't have anything else better to do, so you thought you would waste my time. if you don't know the answer, PEANUT,then don't reply, and go waste time with someone else.
