I am looking at placing a PC on our office network via a wireless card.
But before i do this i want to make sure the users can ONLY access what i want them to and nothing else.
Currently we have a PC setup as our server.
It has the Shared Documents Folder set as Shared, so each network user can gain access to the files(mainly Office files). But this PC to be added to the network is for the employee's, so i ONLY want them to have access to a specified list of files, and NOTHING else.
How would i go about setting this up?
I can Add a user to the PC, and select Limited account.
1). How do i set up a list of files that can be accessed ONLY by that PC?
2). Is it possible to make SOME of the accessed files(pictures) READ ONLY and cannot be deleted or modified?
3). Should i move the files from the Shared Documents folder and place them elsewhere and remove the Shared properties of it?
4). If so where to place the files users, except the New PC can gain access to them?regards

You need to take a look at user account permissions on microsoft's web site. Read up on users and groups, and assigning permissions (access) to them

I had a look at this Microsoft page, but i do not seem to get the Security Tab for some reason:
