Hi
I have 2 user accounts in my PC and both the accounts are Administrator. One account is "John" and the other user is "Adam". I have 2 MB DSL and I want to restrict the bandwidth for the user "John" so that this user can not use the full bandwidth (limit download speed, limit youtube speed etc)?
Thanks

Both of you need to setup a limited user account and use that always.. You run risk of virus being on admin.

No, not really if both of you are admin.

You would need a secondary device most likely.

If I convert the user "john" to limited user then is it possible to limit that user to use less bandwidth?

Limiting bandwidth in this situation would best be achieved by using 3'd party bandwidth limiting software.

you can't do that, first of all those are NT accounts, and that has nothing to do with bandwitdth issues, there is no way, 2mb is alllllooooootttttt of thought-put, I am thinking your talking about how much a user can download and there is no way of throttling that either
