restrict access to port 25

hello here's the thing. I've got an Ms Exchange server 5.5 running and it works fine, but several months ago I found out that it was used to relay someone's junk mail. I restricted access to that but still curious if there's a way to limit access to port 25 via telnet so people won't even able to try sending anything (now they are still able but get the message that relaying was denied). Sounds like I need a firewall? Any good ideas for Firewall for Exchange? Or maybe there's a setting that I can change without buying firewall ... really not the best time for spending extra money :-/
