reset shared folder permission?

CPU/Ram: 400/256

i have two machine network to each other, both running winxp pro.

the host is having problem accessing the client machine with an error saying 'access is denied, you have no permission...' something like this.

how do i reset the permission on the client machine to allow the host access it's shared resources?

i take it the folder you are tryin to access is

Windows

or

My documents suttn like that

just manually share the folder you want, right click and go to sharing, take it from their

thats they way i done it

no, not windows or system folders.
just a regular file folders.
