I have a Linksys BEFW11S4 ver.2 router with AOL 9.0. Do you reset the router when you suspect a problem like intermittant disconnect from AOL? After you reset the router do you have to reconfigure it?

Reseting = "factory default", Then you will have to reconfigure the unit.

In case of a permanent connnection problem, just unplug and restart the unit will fix the problem.

If you have itermitent disconnection, it ìs probably caused by the ISP. The unit's firmware may have bugs that cause this problem. Verify if there is newer version available.
