Solved reset asus laptop to factory settings

Specs: Windows 7
internet wont work unless ether net cable plugged in when had used wireless for two years and it keeps telling me that i have bad scripts on the page

I wouldn't entertain a factory reset just because of internet connection problems. Possibly wifi has been disabled somehow, or you have "acquired" a pest - malware?

Follow phill22's link and see what they offer; and also download the user manual too... It may be helpful.

Incidentally can you see your wifi access point (router) in the list of wifi access available? If not... Then check if your wifi is enabled on your latop, and if/when it is enabled and still no router seen... you need to check router set up (that its wifi is enabled too).

Did factory reset using the f9key on start up and then reset router problem solved
