i have a number of computers, most of them 98, some 2000 and one 95. All of them can access the server, but not the 95 computer. The network card is installed ok, all of the services are installed OK, but ping server produces request timed out. i changed the wins server setting, and i stupidly put in the wrong host, but strangely on restarting, it put the correct details in for me, however it still would not allow me to access the network. it still kept saying "Request timed out". Naturally i am using DHCP and DHCP is being used for WINS configuration etc etc.

sounds like a corrupt ip stack. can you ping any of the workstations or itself? Have you deleted the wins entry to see if it recreated?
