Removing company network login

Specs: Windows XP, 128
I have a Latitude C610 that I ended up with after a company went bust. I have to hit CNTL + ALT + Del and I get a login screen. I have no options but to enter an administrator and a password, but no way to obtain this information. This appears on a blue screen so I have no way to access a start menu that I know of> I also get the same thing in safe mode. Can someone help me with this? Thanks!

You need to reinstall the operating system.

Check on the Dell website to see if you have a 'recovery partition' on that hard drive that you can reinstall from.

If it doesn't, you may have to call them and order a 'recovery CD'.

Just a note on what Curt R said, unless you completed the ownership transfer information on Dell's site, you won't be able to receive any support for that system.

So, go here first:

"So won’t you give this man his wings
What a shame
To have to beg you to see
We’re not all the same
What a shame" - Shinedown
