Remove Ebay toolbar?

How do I remove the Ebay toolbar? When I try to remove it from "add remove programs" all I get is a message reading "Set up exe. has encountered a problem and must close now"

do you have administrative privileges on the machine? (Make sure you're not logged in as a standard user account.)
Also, if this is for IE, I believe you can go to Tools > Manage Add-ons, then remove from there. (I'm not on a Windows machine at the moment, so I can't look it up.)

Thanx...that worked but it still shows up in my "add remove programs" and I can't remove it there even though it shows in the recycle bin.
