Remote shutdown

Hi
We have a bank of machines that has the same configuration that I would like to shutdown from one terminal so I don't have to go around switching them off, can the lan remote wakeup do that?, if so how to I do it.

sub-7 is a trojan. But the remote access idea is good:
http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/ VNC, like PCanywhere only less crappy and free.
Make sure you have a secure network before running anything like this. Install a server on each machine then you connect to each machine (you can make icons saving all connection data, passwords etc, making quick access) and goto start, shutdown. Consider making an icon that shuts it down and have a keyboard shortcut to it. This would make it quicker

I think it's a good ideal if the machines is far apart and you need to do some work on it.
But not ideal in a computer room.
Just want to send a command to shut them all down.

Hey Ken, at least you should provide information about the OS. This is the networking forum. For win NT there is shutdown.exe and shutgui.exe in the NT resource kit.
