I want to share files with my office pc so that when working from home I can work on the same file I would if I was at work (sad I know!)
I have broadband at home and the office and have heard that I need a static IP address but I want to know how to set the file sharing.
Please help - At the moment I have to e-mail files back and forward and overwrite each time.

That involes lots of work with remote networking because you have to set up ras, and get it there, and map drive there....
There is one quick solution, get a copy of vnc or tightvnc. It's a freeware like pcanywhere, you can actually access computer remotely. You will feel like you are working at the office at home. It can be found at www.webattack.com or download.com
I used that software to remote trouble shoot my clients
