I have Comcast internet service at work and at home. I have a wireless network at both locations using a Belkin wireless router and a Comcast provided modem. I want to be able to access my work computer from my Mac laptop Intel Mac) or desktop (Power PC Mac) at home. I installed Vine Server and Vine Viewer on the computers, but I still can't connect. I get a connection timeout message very shortly after attempting to connect. The default port for Vine is 5900; do I need to use a different port? I have the correct external IP address for my work Mac, but I'm still not getting through. I'm an experienced Mac user, but networking is a whole new beast for me and it's really ticking me off that I can't get this to work. It could be something simple I don't know to look for, so don't assume I know what I'm doing! Thanks in advance for any help.
