Hi,
I connect to my work computer (Windows Server 2003) using Remote Desktop from my home computer running XP Professional. Is there any way, when I am connected to my work computer using RDP, of printing to my local printer at home ????
Cheers Glenn

I believe there may be a way. I remember in Win2K Pro, there was a feature that allowed you to create and accept "Incoming Connections" which I believe was a watered-down VPN connection. If XP Professional Supports this, you could Remote into your Win 2003 Sever, initiate an "Incoming Connection" connection to your home network, then print.
This would require you to first create the Incoming Connection "connection" on your XP Pro machine, and use some type of Dynamic DNS service unless your ISP is providing you with a static address. If you are behind a NAT router at home, you would have to configure port forwarding to forward the requests to your NAT IP addy on your home LAN. You would then have to remote into the server, add a printer and make it point to the printer on your home LAN.
Then, remote into the server, and attempt to print.

You don't need to go through all that trouble. What you are asking for is a built-in function for remote desktop.
When you get the connection dialog, be sure to expand the "Options" button if it hasn't been already. On the "Local Resources" tab there is a section for "Local Devices - Connect automatically to these local devices when logged on to the remote computer". Place a checkmark in the "Printers" option.
Now when you connect to your computer at work your local printer(s) at home will be available on the work computer. It sometimes take a bit of time for the remote computer to "discover" the printers.
