i've got a comp with win-98 in it and another p-166, which i want to use as a diskless node. both of them have network cards installed. but no bootroms ! can somebody pl tell me a prog which i can put in a bootdisk and carry on remote booting ?! what should i do on the server side ?! to support this ?!

not 100% sure (it's been a while) if you use the command "net" (i think) to connect to the other computer and assign drive leters to it and change the autoexec to boot off the drive. as i said not sure but it can be done
