I was wondering if anyone new of any secure remote access software that would give a real time image of the remote desktop along with access to files, resources, and applications. I know of pcAnywhere, gotomypc, tightVNC, NetMeeting. I also have looked into terminal services/citrix software, but it seems to me that they require say 2000 pro --> 2000 server, but not a 2000 pro --> 2000 pro directly. Any suggestions?

also i did have tightVNC working. there is obviously going to be a delay, but is there anything closer to real time that could be immune to dynamic IPs while also using a NAT? thanks again!

All those programs are about the best you can get that I know of, :-/ PCanywhere and VNC are the 2 best I have used. If there slow when your using it you might want to check the speed of the 2 PC's connections.

I use Remote Administrator 2.1 by Famatech
(www.radmin.com), but I only use it when I'm at
home. I never looked into seeing if it can handle
dynamic IPs or how to use it away from home--I'm
not that advanced of a user. It might be possible
with this software---don't know.
