I am not familiar with Remote Access to begin with and I want to be able to use Remote Access btween my 2 networks. Can anyone step me through this?

Both networks have cable service with a wireless router.

Well, I'll make the assumption that you are talking about remote Desktop. If you are talking about something else, such as VNC or PC Anywhere, the steps will be similar.

In the router configuration you will need to forward port 3389 to the computer that will act as host (connected to). To connect to that computer from any internet connected computer, you would just need to use the public IP of the router of the computer you are connecting to.

Since you want to connect to either computer, you will need to do this on both routers. If there are other computers on the network that will also need to be connected through RD, you would need to set up RD on each of those machines to use a different port.
