Reinstalling DLink wireless router

Specs: XP, don't have this info
Last night, I unfortunately had to format the hard drive and reinstall Windows XP on my desktop machine. I now need to reinstall the wireless router; or at least get the desktop to recognize it again. My laptop with wireless card still sees the wireless network. So I don't think I need to run the router software installation software again. I sure hope not because I have no CD for it and no way to download it onto the desktop -- no internet connection (and no burner on the laptop, incidentally).

Is there some way to get the desktop computer to recognize the wireless router/internet connection using a Windows wizard or something?

Nevermind, look at that, I solved the problem myself. All I needed to do was reinstall the driver for the ethernet controller. Luckily I had it on a disc.

And now the system sees the router. Yay!
