hi,
my connections sound like irritating.id checkd when lan cable tester and it pretty good.but evrytime i turn ON my pc i cant get any connections .the LAN icon has an red X even if i will restart the pc.but when i reinsert from IO port.thats only the time it will have connection. pls help me to trace this problem because i dont think if it is in PC or card or OS coz i tried 2 defferent PCs.

How are you connecting to the internet? Cable modem? DSL? Other? What is your IP Configuration? Did this just start, or has it never worked? More details would be good.

actually ,this pc is only have LAN connections to access file from server. the connections is intermittent...everytime theres no connection i need to unplug/plug in the IO port to have connections again...but when i test with cable tester its ok.

its static..i tried transferring to other port hub still the same problem. i thinks it either my switch or the IO port has a problem. ill try to isolate this manually ..thanks guys
