how do i setup samba or whatever on redhat linux to be able to read shares in windows os's.

is it possible to have windows read the unix partitions?

Setup the smb.conf file and restart samba, then Windows users will see it.

In order to mount a windows share on Unix/Linux, use the smbmount tool.
