Read Only Problem

Hello, this is my first time on this site. I am having a problem with some files on a Netware 5.1 server. For some reason when some users try to access these files, the system tells them the files are read only. But from the top down, there are no files anywhere that are marked read only. I even gave one user access to no groups, and access to the files in question, and have the same result. But when I try to access them on my computer with admin rights, I can open them, but if I try to open the files on the other persons computer with the same admin rights, I get the read only message again. Have scanned the network for a virus, as well as the machines in question. Any help would be great!! Matt Shuey

What version of the Netware client are you using? Is it the same on both machines you mentioned?

It is Client 3.3 Actually I found the problem. For some reason our user licenses had an expire date of 12-31-01. Called Novell and got new activation keys and put the licenses back in and that fixed the problem!!
